Compare allocation approaches
Financial strength, industry balance and dividend funding emphasize different questions. The Wolford workspace uses its original allocation engine to apply those approaches. Inspect the companies and resulting weights after recalculating; a strategy label alone does not explain a portfolio.
From a weight to a dollar target
For budget B and company weight w, the dollar target is B × w. If a usable share price P is available, a simple whole-share estimate is floor(B × w / P). Rounding down leaves some cash unallocated. This is a planning calculation, not an order placed with a broker.
Why prices need to match
A share estimate needs a price for the right listing, currency and share basis. The current planner accepts matching USD observations within its stated freshness window. Missing or stale prices leave the corresponding target unallocated instead of fabricating a share count.
Profit and loss needs different inputs
Unrealized profit or loss needs actual quantities, cost basis and matching current prices. A saved research allocation contains model weights, which are not sufficient to calculate account value or investment returns. Financial strength also differs from undervaluation: a strong company can still have an expensive share price.
Keep a useful research record
Save the allocation, preserve its research date, and export a backup before moving between browsers or domains. Browser storage belongs to its website origin and does not automatically move from a local preview to the public website. A formal portfolio certificate records research; it is not proof of ownership or investment performance.
